Haley + Wyatt | The Perfect Fall Wedding

Traveling Wedding Photography

Okay, okay. It’s true we’ve already had our first, big snow here in New Mexico…But we’ll be danged if we don’t celebrate a fall wedding at least one more time before winter is officially here!

And plus, we all know how fickle southwestern weather can be — there’s always a good chance that, after dumping a foot of snow, that desert sun will be out not 5 minutes later melting it all back down again. So whether your weather matches the vibes, or whether you’re just pretending your weather is as magical as a Red River fall, let’s get in the spirit!

There’s no wedding ceremony more perfect for some autumn-inspired, romantic daydreaming than Haley + Wyatt’s. And why is that, you may ask? Well, think of all the things that make this time of year especially lovable and wonderful, like:

S’mores, leaves turning golden, crisp days made balanced by warm sunshine, perfect golden lighting, everything slightly hushed now that the rush of summer is over.

You know — things of that nature.

Haley + Wyatt’s wedding had all of that and more.

And yes, it’s true our love of all things weddings and romance has lead us to be a bit hyperbolic — we prefer earnest — in the past, but this time, it’s no exaggeration whatsoever.

Haley + Wyatt married each other on a gorgeous fall day that was, as you’ll see, the epitome of gorgeous fall days. Surrounded by their loved ones, closest friends, and dearest family members, the couple said their vows at the base of a mountain, framed by the golden hues of recently-turned leaves that were just about to make their descent.

Not to mention, they did all of this while dressed to the nines. We highly recommend spending some extra time appreciating how impeccably styled the bride and groom were — definitely our most stylish grooms ever!

And as if you weren’t already in love with this couple, the beautiful bride Haley made all of their adorable + fantastically designed signage! With a bit of help from her trusty Cricut, of course.

Haley + Wyatt, now bound in fantastic, emphatic matrimony, romped through the quiet trails and golden hills while we followed along, capturing every step. As the sun began to set on the fall day to end all fall days, the couple rejoined their beloved guests and stuffed each other’s faces full of (mountain-themed!) cake and S’mores

(Told you they had all that and more!)

We can’t thank you both enough for inviting the Shayla Cristine Photography team to be a part of your special day! We’ll still be dreaming of it, many autumns to come!
