If we’re being honest, all it takes is a whisper of rustic details and colorful florals to make the hearts at Shayla Cristine Photography flutter. So when we caught wind of the vibe Rachel and Ramon were curating for their wedding, we were already swooning!
Of course, though, the reality of the day was so much more magical than we could have ever expected. Held by the well-loved, local wedding venue known as Old Town Farm, the couple said their I-do’s in the heart of the new season, surrounded by bursting blooms and the buzzing of spring.
Matched by the bursting, buzzing love between them, the couple’s special day truly illuminated their pure, kindhearted personalities. Rachel and Ramon are high school sweethearts, so this wedding day was a long time coming, but it was worth every moment of the wait.
As each other’s best friend and fiercest advocates as well, Rachel and Ramon decided to wait to celebrate their love until they were both set in their careers. Does it get any more thoughtful, considerate, and heartwarming than that?!
Wrapped in up in lace and the beauty of the day, Rachel met Ramon under a wooden arch at Old Town Farm to finally say their vows. There Ramon waited, looking equally as sharp in his tux from the locally-loved Suits Unlimited, with a natural green backdrop of the farm’s venerable trees. Family members, close friends, and of course their sweet pup, all gathered there on that clear spring day to pay witness to Rachel and Ramon’s ceremony of marriage.
And yes, you read that right. Rachel and Ramon had a dog-of-honor who came down the aisle just the same as the rest of the bridal party — as if we weren’t already obsessed with their special day!
