What, did you think the only thing we have to fawn over is our collection of perfectly imperfect love stories and the photos that accompany them? It’s true we could gush endlessly about all the couples that the Shayla Cristine Photography team gets to photograph and become lifelong friends with, but there’s still even more love to go around!

This little corner of the internet simply wouldn’t be complete if we didn’t pay homage to the unique places and spaces that hold our couples, too. And so, Four Seasons at Rancho Encantado — yes the acclaimed resort here in Santa Fe, that Four Seasons — is the object of our love today.

While it only took one wedding for our team to fall in love with the Four Seasons, we’ve had the immense pleasure of working with their staff many times over now. With each big day, each proclamation of love and devotion, and each whirlwind celebration, we’re more and more convinced that the Four Seasons might be the best place to get married in New Mexico.

It’s true the venue is wrapped in the familiar landscape of mountains and mesas which we respect so much, but upon first entering the Four Seasons at Rancho Encantado, we promise you’ll be transported. Warm neutrals and carefully curated decor encapsulate the southwestern vibe New Mexico is famous for, and evolve it even further to be enticingly modern.

Inside and out, every inch of the Four Seasons is photo-worthy, which means this place is perfect for both of us. For you, to coordinate decor around whether your wedding vibe is rugged and earthy, or cosmopolitan and modern. And for us, to capture everything floor to ceiling, from the group hugs and happy-dancing to the tiniest details, like your garter and wedding invitations.

And if that’s not enough to tickle your fancy — although how could it not be!? — the resort proudly offers every engaged couple and their loved ones some seriously insane perks. Plenty of rooms and space to get ready means the day begins and ends in perfect, serene harmony, and the restorative spa on the premise is there just in case anything or anyone tries to disturb your peace. (We’re looking at you, ornery Uncle Bill!)

And lastly, just to absolutely seal the deal, the Four Seasons has somehow managed to find the most dedicated collection of wedding professionals and kindhearted people to staff their location. We care about our couples’ big day too much to throw around recommendations all willy-nilly, so trust us when we say you’ll be in the best hands here.

Four Seasons and all the lovely people you hold, we adore you. Sincerely, the Shayla Cristine Photography team.
